THE CAMEL

A large inflated camel
Is a surreptitious mammal
When found floating 'round the pools found in hotels
It lies undisturbed for hours
Eating Haagen Dazs and flowers
It will look at you and say "Oh, that's what smells."

But the camel, when deflated
Is not very highly rated
And indeed is rather boring to its friends
So it sings a sad lamenty
When the hotel pool is empty
And repressurises to avoid the bends.

When in doubt: rhyme.

Ha! Nice - reminds me of the poem Steve Martin does in THE MAN WITH TWO BRAINS:

"O pointy birds, o pointy pointy,
Anoint my head, anointy-nointy."
